Ways to Contribute:
Hair Donations: Contribute a minimum of 12 inches of hair to create high-quality wigs. We accept non-bleached, naturally colored, permed, straightened, and gray hair. For hair between 8 and 12 inches, participation in our Ponytail Tracking Program is required.
Ponytail Tracking Program: With a $150 donation, you can track your hair’s journey into a wig, receive a certificate, and an “I Made the Cut” t-shirt. This program covers manufacturing costs, ensuring your hair reaches someone in need.
Financial Contributions: Monetary donations are vital for wig production and distribution. Every dollar helps us continue our mission to support those affected by medical hair loss.

Apply for a Human Hair Wig
At Hair We Share, we provide human hair wigs free of charge to individuals experiencing medical hair loss. If you or a loved one is in need, our application process is straightforward:
Eligibility: U.S. residents with permanent medical hair loss; children under 18 receive wigs at no cost, while adults over 18 are considered based on financial need.
Required Documentation: Doctor’s prescription stating the reason for hair loss; adults must also provide proof of financial need.
Application Process: Complete the online application form and submit all necessary documents. Our board reviews each application individually, and you can expect a response within five business days.
